{Who's That} 504 Main
You guys, we have an awesome guest with us today. The fab Holly from 504 Main and I are blog swapping today, so she's here to share a bit of herself and her wonderful creations with you while I do the same for her readers. I hope you all love her (seriously, though, what's not to love?!)
Hey there! Happy May!
I just realized my kids are out of school in 24 days! Can you believe that!? Anyway, before it gets too crazy at my house, I am so very tickled to be here at Scraps and Scribbles! This is my first ever blog swap...so excited...thanks Courtney!

So, you just might want to know who the heck are you talking to...I am Holly, and 504 Main is my home away from home where I entertain, cook, create. I drink way too much coffee {mochas, please} and stay up way too late, and read way too many blogs! I love making a mess and sometimes that turns into a brilliant craft...and sometimes not. That about sums it up! Just kidding...

Come on by and say "Hi" at 504 Main. I am also a part of the DIY Club where we host monthly project parties with GREAT prizes.
A big, HUGE thank you to Holly for coming by today! I hope you all head over to her blog and see the amazing things she's up to!

I am a former fashion designer, turned wedding planner, turned author, turned obsessed blogger. As for my style, I have a vintagey, beat up, discarded, slightly French, yet totally American aesthetic {confused? Me too sometimes!}. I like what I like! I LOVE repurposed crafting and creating. And I like things that sparkle and glitter!
My current favorite project that puts the twinkle in my stars is my Family Heirloom Wreath. I love this creation (if I do say so myself!)
I am totally off base when it comes to getting organized - I used to be able to keep it all straight in my head...but no more, so I created my Family Command Center with Enameled Tags. It actually works the whole family finally knows where to look to find out what's up.
or my glittering flowers
{made from joining biscuits - again - and lots of glitter and glue}
The crazier, the more unexpected, the older, the odder, the more beat up something is, the more likely I am to be inspired by it. Salvaging old windows seems to be my new obsession.
Did I mention I was a fashion designer and I love sparkles...oh yeah, I did. Well, I broke out my old sketches and glittered them up and I love them!
I also like to express my creativity in my cooking and baking...
Choclate Chip Bacon Cookies anyone????
A Big THANK YOU to Courntey for having me today!

{Who's That} Brassy Apple
I'm blog swappin' with the lovely Megan from Brassy Apple today! I'm so excited for you all to meet her (if you don't already know who she is)-I just know you'll love her and her wonderful blog!
Hi! Thanks to Courtney for the feature today! I am excited to be introduced to her readers! My name is Megan or Ms. Apple as the delivery guy sometimes calls me (ha ha ha) . I am the creative force behind Brassy Apple.
I love to create easy to wear accessories and designs. When the demand became to much, I branched into sewing patterns and ePatterns so everyone could make my designs and input some of their own personal style and taste.
I love to blog and interact daily on the Brassy Apple Blog. It's where I can share all my ideas outside of designing and producing patterns.
I have a passion for sewing, fashion, DIY'ing, upcycling, refashioning, design and attempting to be fun and cool mom! I like to take things that might look hard and show how simply they can be created.
I share tutorials and project ideas from creating with your kids...
(Spin Art)
to creating a space you love or items to put into that space.....
to refashioning a boxy tee into something trendy and unique!
(Boxy to Foxy refashion)
I also love photography as a hobby or outlet outside of business. I have recently started a daily photo blog that features women all over the world!
It embraces the fact that we are all more than just the labels or categories we are put into. It allows us to connect, laugh, cry and relate through a single photo or peek into your world wherever you are located on the globe. The theme for May's photos is - I am a Mother! I would love to feature you and your greatest creations - your children.
It was great to share a bit about me and what I do with you today! Stop by and say hello!

Thanks so much for coming by and sharing with my readers, Megan! I hope you all head over to her blog and check it out-say hi while you're there, that's where I am today :)

Who's That: Craftiness Is Not Optional
I'm pleased to introduce you all to the fab Jess from Craftiness Is Not Optional.
She's a SAHM to two cutie-pie little girls, seamstress, crafter and thrifter. If you've never been over to Jess's blog, here's a sampling of some of her awesome projects:
Can you believe this woman?!?! She makes Barbie clothes. I can't even sew in a straight line on a sewing machine!
Aren't these the cutest Father's Day cards you've ever seen? Love 'em, Jess!
As I mentioned, Jess has two little girls. I love the way she decorated her youngest's nursery-so simple and pretty.
I'm a sucker for silhouettes and Jess has a very easy tutorial so you can make your own.
Jess is a thrifter after my own heart-I love seeing all the steals she finds.
I love throw pillows and these are just too cute! Check out the rest of Jess's bedroom makeover.
Head on over to Craftiness Is Not Optional and have a look around at the rest of Jess's great projects! You won't be disappointed.
