Mega Giveaway Vendor Spotlight: Meet Peek-a-Boo Props and Hippy Chic Diapers

Today is the last day of our giveaway!  Have you entered yet?

I've got two more awesome ladies to introduce you to today

First up is Sue of Peek-a-Boo Props:

My name is Sue and I'm from Minnesota.  I make newborn photography props like bonnets, rompers, crowns, headbands, ect.  I started my shop on ETSY in January of 2013.  My daughter is a photographer, and I help her with the newborn shoots.  I was looking at the props she was buying and said, "hey, I can make that".  And the rest is history.  I am humbled every day, that I am able to communicate with photographers all over the word, from Singapore to Lima Peru.
I have loved to sew all my life, and now I have found a way to enjoy my passion every day. I only wish I would have heard about ETSY years ago.  Never in a million years did I think this was possible.  I am truly blessed.
And next up is Amy from Hippy Chic Diapers:

I'm a "stay at home" mom to 4 little folks.  In between soccer practices, dance classes and homeschooling, I make cloth diapers & children's apparel.  I strive to make practical children's items that are both fun & affordable.

Here's what these wonderful ladies are giving away:

Mega Giveaway Vendor Spotlight: Meet Southern Girl Accents, Bright Eyed Owl and doTERRA

Woohoo, it's Friday!  Are you pumped?!  I've got 3 more ladies to introduce you to that are part of our Mega Giveaway!

First up is my real-life friend Heather of Southern Girl Accents:

I am Heather and a true Southern girl.  I was born in Georgia and raised in the south. I have been married for over 20 years and we have 3 amazing children.
As I have thought about a name for my blog and for the small, home based business I wanted to create, I wanted a name that would be kinda cute, but, not cutesy.  A name that represented me and my vision for where I see my business going.  Since I am southern .... I am a girl and I do have an accent ... well ... Southern Girl Accents sounded pretty perfect to me.  However, the Accents part more than applies to how I talk.  I love accenting and adorning stuff!!  Don't get me wrong, I am not a bedazzeler.  I like to make items that can be a permanent part of something, or can be easily removed and swapped out for another color or style.  (I love  Back Pack Fowers for that reason ...  lots of fun colors and they can be clipped and changed in seconds!!)

Next up is my real-life friend Ashley of Bright Eyed Owl:

Ashley lives here in Albuquerque with her hubby and her two adorable boys.  She makes the cutest baby items you'll ever see!  She is one of the most talented seamstresses I know.  She crafts such lovelies as binky clips, car seat covers, stuffed toys-my kids each have one of her adorable elephants- and teething toys.

Last up today is my real-life friend Brittany of The Natural Cure and who is also a doTERRA rep:

Brittany has always had a passion for health. After receiving her degree in Health Education, Brittany undertook further education specializing in depression and anxiety recovery.

Brittany believes that prevention is the key to ultimate health and she discovered that essential oils could help herself and others prevent illnesses and treat ailments in a natural holistic manner with a goal to an all-round healthier lifestyle.

Her passion goes beyond sharing essential oils for healing into giving the opportunity of wealth with others.

She loves people and making new friends! She would love to meet you so send a facebook message or check her out at The Natural Cure, where you can find lots of great recipes, natural living how to's and more!

Mega Giveaway Vendor Spotlight: Meet Shabby Chic Soap Co., My Bella Accessories and Kristen Duke Photography

Hope you all have been enjoying the giveaway this week and getting to know the awesome ladies behind it!  Here are some more lovely ladies that you should know:

First up is Sheena of Shabby Chic Soap Company-

I'm a stay-at-home-mama of 2 little boys, a 5 y/o and 1 y/o. I started Shabby Chic Soap Company shortly after my 2nd was born and my original goal was to make a soap that would be gentle enough for the whole family to use, but it has grown to so much more than that. I love coming up with new designs for my Shea Butter based soaps....designs to get kids EXCITED to take a bath, designs to make mamas feel PAMPERED, designs to make dads feel MANLY, designs that show off your NERDY side and so much more. All of my soaps are made to order, so you can customize your scents and colors or leave out any allergens/sensitivities. And my favorite thing about my "job" is the feedback, encouragement and joy I get from my customers, especially those who come back again and again to restock their soap dishes with SCSC soap.

Next up is my real-life friend Jessica of My Bella Accessories:

My Bella Accessories was founded in 2011 by Jessica Gartrell of Central Florida. This venture runs almost entirely on yarn and money donations, to provide crochet items to those less fortunate. In exchange for purchasing the yarn, customers would receive their item A) for only $5-15--depending on the request; and B) with the peace of mind of knowing that the yarn left over from their order would be used to make items to donate. My Bella has donated items to Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Oh My Baby, The Scarf Project, and numerous others.  Jessica is currently a teacher at Excel Academy in Lakeland and isn't taking orders right now, but continues to do her charity donations.

And last (for today) but certainly not least is Kristen of Kristen Duke Photography and Capturing Joy with Kristen Duke:

Hello! I’m Kristen, an Austin Texas based lifestyle blogger and photographer. I like to Capture the Joy in life, and share it with my friends. My joy includes my family, eating well, designing furniture for my hubby to build, teaching photography to beginners, throwing parties, and sharing all kinds of random thoughts.  Photography has always been a passion of mine.  Growing up, my camera was never very far away.  Back in the day, I learned how to develop film in the darkroom, but now my computer is my darkroom. As a mother of 4, I want to capture my children at each stage.  I wish I could bottle them up and hold them there forever, and with my camera…I can!

Spotlight: Wonder Products

I've got three A-MAZ-ING products to share with you all today.  As you might know, I'm a mark. rep and a few months ago, I started doing Avon as well.  The fun thing about selling beauty products is that I get them at a discounted price.  Which means I try out a lot more things than I would if I had to pay full price for them : )  Because of this, I have found three super-products that I just can't help but rave about!  And since I love you all so much, I wanted to share them with you.  *Disclaimer-boobies are mentioned in this post, but not in a crude way.  Just wanted to give you heads up : )

Avon Solutions Body Liquid Bra Toning Gel

I don't think I'm the only one with this problem-between being pregnant and nursing, my bustline took a hit.  Big time.  I went up two whole cup sizes-one while I was pregnant and one when I started nursing-then down a size.  Needless to say, that kind of stretches things out a bit.  My boobies were, shall we say, less than firm after all of that.  And there's not much I could do about that, short of plastic surgery, which, besides being uber expensive, isn't something I'd even consider.  Then I found this and decided to give it a try.  "Instantly! Bust feels tightened and more toned.  In just one week-advanced gel formula makes the bust look firmer and more lifted."  Hey, I like anything that shows results after just one week.  If it worked, then that solved my saggy boobie problem.  AND Avon has a 100% satisfaction guarantee-if you're not happy with anything you buy from them, no matter the reason, you can return it for a full refund.  I figured, what's the worse that can happen?  If it doesn't work, I'm no worse off than I was before.  Let me tell you-IT WORKS!!!!!  My bustline has firmed up tremendously.  I've been using it for about a month and a half and everything it claims to do, I've seen!  The gel-cream goes on nice and silky, but you do need to let it completely dry before you put your clothes on or you'll stick to your bra.  And it's easy to apply-just once a day!  So, no boob job for me!

Avon Solutions Body Stretchmark 24 Line Reducing Treatment

Stretchmarks.  Ugh.  The bane of swimsuit season.  I lucked out when I pregnant with my son, I really did.  I only got stretchmarks on my hips and thighs.  But some of them were pretty bad.  Like the ones on my left side and inner thighs-they were really deep and a nasty shade of purple.  I tried Bio Oil-it worked ok but not well enough.  And it's expensive!  Then Avon came out with their own stretchmark cream and I decided to give it a go.  Within a week, I was seeing a change.  After just ONE WEEK!!!  And I wasn't even using it twice a day as recommended (I'm awful at remembering to put it on a night.)  It's been about a month and the lines on my sides and legs are almost gone.  The deeper ones are still there, but they are much less visible and I'm sure with continued use, they'll be gone soon, too.  The cream is very smooth, silky and fast-absorbing.  A little goes a long way, which I like because then I feel like I'm getting more for my money.  A good majority of other stretchmark creams out there are twice as expensive and from what I've read from reviews online, don't deliver on their promises.  I reaGlssd review after review on this product and saw nothing but glowing recommendations.

Gloss Gorgeous Lip Stain Gloss

I don't know about the rest of you, but I hate having to remember to re-apply my lips, be it gloss or lipstick.  That's why I love stains.  Well, mostly love.  Stains can be so drying on my lips, it almost makes them not worth it.  That's why I was jumping for joy when I saw this awesome product from mark.  It's a gloss that's also a stain!  So, you put your gloss on in the morning and it stains your lips a pretty shade of pink so that when the gloss has worn off, you still have some color.  And since you stained your lips while the gloss was on, it doesn't dry them out!  I have it in Bare and it's always in my purse.  The gloss goes on very smooth, leaving my lips very hydrated, and it's not sticky at all.  I hate goopey, sticky lip gloss.  And it's only $9!  Stila has a similar lip and cheek stain that costs a whopping $24!!  Now, I do love me some Stila, I really do, but why would I pay over twice as much for a product that does the same thing (I think it does it better, personaly!)?!  And apparently I'm not the only one who thinks that way-check out that MVP award from Redbook!

So there you have it-the top three products on my "OMG, these are amazing!" list.  To order some, you can check out my online Avon and mark. boutiques if you don't already have an Avon lady!

Spotlight (and a giveaway!): Priddy Creations

Meet Priddy Creations!

I am an avid photographer.  I always have a camera out, snapping pictures.  My husband (as well as the rest of my family) jokes that my son is going to grow up thinking everything has polka dots on it from all the flashes.  And I have my own photography business that I run by myself.  I'm always on the look-out for cool new cameras and lenses and other camera accessories, but one thing I've always kind of neglected is camera bags.  I've never really had one.  In fact, I am currently using a spare, small diaper bag to heft my professional camera around to shoots.  Not that anyone notices, but I know.  I know.

So I was head over heals, filled with joy when I heard about Priddy Creations through a post on Blue Cricket Designs.  It's all camera accessories-bags, camera strap covers, lens cases and totes-and all done in super-cute, super-stylish fabrics.

Seriously, I'm in love.

Isn't this stuff just amazing?!  I love it all.  I'm really going to have to get me one.  No more diaper bag for the camera anymore!!

How about a chance to have this lovely adorn your camera for free?  Yep, that's right, for FREE.  Blue Cricket Designs is giving one of these to a lucky reader.  All you have to do is enter.

Spotlight (and a giveaway!): mark.

For those of you who have never heard of mark., here's a bit about them:

It's a line by Avon geared especially for younger women.  In fact, their slogan is: "For women, by women."  Not that if you're 60, you can't use mark.  But mark is more than just make-up.  They are a full-range beauty company, covering everything from skincare to jewelry to bath and body to clothing to, of course, make-up.  Their products have won various awards from magazines like Allure, Cosmo, Glamour and have been featured as cover make-up on covers for Lucky, Seventeen and many more.  I, myself, am a mark rep*.  I just fell in love with their products and wanted to be able to share them with others.  The thing I love most about mark is that you can look great no matter what your income is.  Their products are very reasonably priced and very high quality.  Think of it as getting department store make-up quality at drugstore prices.

And their website is awesome!  You can check out all of mark's offerings, shop the Last Chance section (getting great beauty products for almost nothing always makes my day,) find out what's new and trendy-there's even a section called Shades of You that helps you find the colors that work best based on your skin tone!  There's even picks by spokeswoman, Lauren Conrad-you can find out what she likes and uses by looking for the little pink heart next to products.

Here's a few mark products that I love (and can't live without):

mark's i-pick eyeshadows are amazing!  They come in almost every color you could ever want.  They go on super-silky and last all day.  I love, love, LOVE them!

mark Berry Grand super exfoliating beads-by far the best facial exfoliator I have ever used!  It's all natural ingredients, which I love.  All you do is shake a little out, mix it with whatever cleanser you use and scrub away.  I like that the beads aren't harsh on my skin, but still give my face a nice, deep clean.

mark's Make It Big plumping mascara-this mascara is amazing!  No clumps, no flakes-it makes your lashes look fabulous (and best of all, like they're naturally like that-you can't even tell you have mascara on!)

Mega Volume Next Day Spray-I use this on those days when I don't feel like re-styling my hair.  But, Courtney, shouldn't you wash your hair every day?  No-in fact, top stylists recommend that you only wash your hair 2-3 times a week (unless you have oily hair, then you obviously need to wash more often.)  This product is great for those non-washing days.  It refreshes hair and reduces oiliness in between shampoos.  And it's only $5!

Oh, the hook-ups, where would I be without you?  These little babies are what first got me hooked on mark. The one pictured above is a Winkstick, a cream eyeshadow stick.  Hook-ups come in just about everything you'd need to do your entire face-brushes, eyeshadow, mascara, concealer, blush and lipstick.  There are even skin treatments-I use the one for puffy eyes.  All in a portable, changeable package.  See, how hook-ups work is you have your individual products and they connect together in the middle with a hook-up connector (not shown.)  When one product runs out or you want to change things up, you just pop off the one you want to change out and snap on a different one.  I seriously own like 15 of these!  I keep them in my purse so I have make-up with me wherever I am.

So I mentioned the concealer hook-up above.  Here it is.  It comes in pencil form, which makes it easy to apply (no brush needed!) and it's portable!  Lightweight formula with great, blendable coverage.  Great for touch-ups on the go, too.

Hook-up lip gloss.  But not just any lip gloss, Pro Gloss.  This little baby plumps your lips up just enough for a full, kiss me look-no joke.  You can feel it start to work when you put it on.  And the gloss isn't sticky or gooey, which is always nice.

Did I forget to mention that there are even hook-up fragrances?  Oh yes.  Now you can take your perfume anywhere.  I love Jewel the best.  It smells soooooo good!

Last but not least, Juice Gems lipgloss.  These are fantastic!  Just the right amount of color and shine without being sticky or goopey.  My favorite is Mango Tango, which is the orangey-peach one above.  Leaves my lips a lovely peachy color.  And it smells great!

Hope you enjoyed getting to know mark!  If you saw something you liked, you can check it out on the mark website or visit my eBoutique.  And to help you get to know mark, I'm giving away one Fig Juice Gem to one lucky reader!  Here's how you can enter (up to 4 entries per person):

2. Visit mark's website and post a comment letting me know what you thought about mark, what your favorite product is or what one you'd like to try.
3. Promote Scraps and Scribbles or this giveaway on your own blog-leave me a link to it.

*I am in no way trying to pressure anyone into feeling like they have to buy something from me.  My only goal with this post was to spotlight an awesome brand and help readers learn more about their products.
